Space Planning
With space being such a costly commodity effective planning can sometimes reduce the necessity to relocate or take on additional space. Movetech Ltd can offer a complete space study, taking into account traffic flow, allocated space per person, meeting spaces, equipment location, power & data ports, light and distances of travel to protected exits. We feel that some issues, such as IT movement can be kept to a minimum with effective planning to existing port locations, which could provide cost savings.
The success of effective space planning is measured by minimum disruption following a move, as well as the environment it creates. By brief taking and pre-planning we can be aware of your requirements, add this to our input, survey your site so that we can draw up a space plan design to suit your needs.
A typical project may take the following route:
- Pre-Planning - Liaise with management to formulate the best way forward.
- Full Furniture & Site Survey - A full layout of the existing area is completed, and the move area surveyed to ensure accuracy of measurements and layout.
- Submission of Preliminary Plans - To ensure everything is satisfactory.
- Detailed Planning - Where any modifications are made.
- Full Planning Detail Added To Preliminary Plans - All product and staff details added.
- Sign Off By Customer - Plans agreed and working drawings issued.
As Movetech Ltd is completely independent your furniture specification does not need to be linked to a particular manufacturer, which means that you are free of constraints such as obligation to purchase and suppliers disinterest if they feel that there will be little return for them. Alternatively we can specify products for you or, if required, work with your preferred supplier.
