With environmental issues becoming increasingly important in today's business environment, companies are recognising that they must implement policies that are ethical, environmental and upholds their social responsibilities.
Movetech Ltd are committed to promoting a viable alternative to creating more environment-threatening landfill, together with an awareness of the hazardous nature of dumped computer hardware. From August '04 all IT equipment has had to be recycled, none of which can go to landfill sites.
The number of obsolete computers worldwide for 2006 is expected to exceed 300 million. This will create toxic waste in excess of:-

| Quarter of a million kg of mercury | half a million kg of hexavalent chromium |
Movetech Ltd can collect and recycle your redundant IT equipment, providing you with a full audit trail from pick up to granulation. We are able to reduce your current hardware storage issues and potentially reduce your overall waste disposal costs. Hard drives are all disabled by drilling on the day of pick up to ensure they cannot be read or re-used. If any monitors can be re-used they are donated to local schools.

We endeavour to keep charges to a minimum, although some items have specific requirements and need specialist disposal and a re charged at a set rate. Our current charges are shown below:

Costs for all other equipment are calculated on the time taken to strip down components ready for recycling. All prices are exclusive of VAT.
We have regular collections around Berkshire and these are charged at £5.00. For specific collection times, other locations and collections requiring large vehicles, prices are provided on request.
